You'll be smiling for free on your first visit.

Your initial appointment at MINT will be unlike anything you expected. To begin with, we take a photograph of you with our Enhanced Smile Camera to show you "Before" and "After" pictures of what your new smile can look like, before we do anything. This alone will WOW you! Then we make an impression of your teeth to fit you with customized dental whitening trays for free (if you have PPO insurance)! Next, we'll take a medical history to learn what medications you're taking, what symptoms you're experiencing and then we'll take a low radiation digital x-rays to help identify potential problems. If the problem is impacted wisdom teeth, we may then take a state of the art, panoramic x-ray.

It's important you inform us if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.) or require medication prior to dental cleanings (i.e. antibiotics, for pre-med.)

Next the dentist will meet with you, explain your diagnosis and discuss treatment options. Often treatment can be administered that day. In many cases, a complex treatment plan might require additional appointments.

  • If you have dental insurance, please give the receptionist all insurance information before arriving. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.

IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the consultation visit.

X-Rays

We are often asked if recent X-rays can be used to save on the cost of new ones. The answer is of course! If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays (within 6-months), you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are still necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
